Seasonal Tax Preparation

Whitefield is an IRS certified VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) site.  This service is provided on-site at the Whitefield Center from January – March each year for individuals making $62,000 or less.

During its first two years of operation, the Whitefield VITA site served over 100 persons with free Income Tax Assistance and returned nearly $200,000 to the economy of the Thomas Square neighborhood by the collective IRS refunds it generated.
